Participatory Local Governance

People centred governance has focused on developing model Gram Panchayat and activities include developing micro plans, capacity building of elected representatives, elected women representatives, strengthening Community Based Organizations, advocacy, interface with local government offices. CWS is conducting  awareness programs to sensitize representatives of various Adivasi communities about their rights under the Forest rights Act as well as about various provisions related to self-governance under the Panchayat Extension in Schedule Area  act in order to secure the livelihoods.
