Project Objective / Overall Goal and Expected Results:
Project Objective: Increased agricultural production and improved market access for 500 poor, farming households living in remote and marginalised.
Expected Results:
Result 1: Food availability and production surpluses for the market will be improved through increased agricultural productivity & sustainable resource management.
Result 2: Income will be generated through improved market access and value addition for specific crops.
Result 3: Good practices promoted and scaled up through exchange, networking and advocacy.
Major achievements till date:
Project started in November 2011 and the MoU with the donor was signed in January 2012
