Project Objective / overall Goal and Expected Results:
Project Objective: To improve key indicators related to food, income and nutrition security within a 6 years period in Devipur block of Deoghar district (Jharkhand), while achieving important synergies & collaboration among the partners related to convergence, capacity building, advocacy and fundraising.
Expected Results:
Result 1: Strengthened Community based institutions to address and ensure accessibility of rights and entitlements in areas of Food Security, access to commons, Mother and Child Nutrition and Primary Education.
Result 2: Established demonstrable pilots in FNS, Mother and Child Nutrition or Primary Education with potential for replication and upscale by the Government.
Result 3: Advocacy and networking at block, district and State level, address FNS Mother and Child Nutrition and Primary Education and bring in policy level changes on those issues.
Major achievements till date:
Project is yet to start and the MoU with the donor likely to be signed in February 2012
